Dina Fiore is a life-long resident of Long Beach. A graduate of Long Beach Catholic Regional School, Sacred Heart Academy and Fisher College, her education prepared Dina for a successful career in business and ignited her strong desire to serve others. She has been engaged in civic and social issues in the City by the Sea, which has evolved into several leadership positions throughout the community.

As President of the Westholme & Walks Civic Association, she has been instrumental in bringing the community together in partnership with other neighborhood associations to bring such notable activities as Movies on the Beach and the Annual Holiday Food Drive to city residents. The association supports the local VFW through the Holiday Wreath, Tree & Ornament decorating event in collaboration with the Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department & AOH Division 17. Dina helps to organize the Community Yard Sale, raising funds for both Veterans and local schools. Dina has served on the Board of her cooperative for 15 years, and serves on the Board of Long Beach Neighbors Against Overdevelopment – a group that advocates for smart, well-informed development of Long Beach and its precious resources. A local champion of all things Long Beach, Dina communicates the City’s news and happenings at Civic meetings in addition to representing residents at City Council meetings and Zoning Hearings.

An active parishioner of St. Mary of the Isle, Dina is engaged in many church functions and events. She volunteers her time to help with the Thanksgiving Food Drive and Holiday Toy drive, which supports many local families across the city.

In her free time, Dina can often be found walking the Boardwalk or on the beach after an early morning ocean swim when she isn’t surfcasting, boating or teaching swim lessons. Dina truly loves her hometown of Long Beach and endeavors to uplift others by posting daily inspirational thoughts through Facebook and Instagram.

Born and raised in Long Beach, Dina is the 4th generation of her extended family. Dina developed her civic-mindedness from her parents.  Her father James is a retired Lieutenant & Commanding Officer in the LBPD and former co-owner of Lenny’s Steakhouse & Minnesota’s Grill and Bar. Her mother Roberta founded the Long Beach Historical & Preservation Society, of which Dina is a member and she has two siblings: her brother Jim lives in Long Beach, and her sister Gina lives in California.
